Lots of things make me smile. Some days I just have to look harder for those things than others. Today would've been one such day. Busy day of cleaning up, laundry, finishing putting away the last bit of red and green decor, etc, etc... What should've only taken me a few hours however, took me the entire day today, which frustrated me...deepening that ugly wrinkle that lies between my eyes. Grrrr! The reasons it took me all day to do a few simple tasks-Macy didn't nap more than 20 minutes ALL DAY LONG today and Addison, well, she's two-enough said.
One thing that DOES make me happy and makes me smile is giving to others. I absolutely LOVE giving gifts or a meal to someone and seeing their eyes light up in excitement and delight. It's fun to make to someone else's day! So you can imagine my pure joy today when I found out I was going to be able to do a GIVEAWAY for my blog readers!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!!
I'm just about ready to get this giveaway going...working out a few more details, crossing my i's and dotting my t's! It's not a HUGE thing that's being given but it's still something. Since I watched Drama Mama grow up and she kept my girls when they were young, I love to read about her and her girls. In today's blog when Drama Mama wrote she loves watching someone's eyes light up, that is what I see her eyes doing as I read her blog! A truely great person and mom!
